Is Ron Paul Too Good To Win? The Best Thing That Ever Happened to the Democrats is the GOP and Their Supporters

Maybe the best read I have seen all year on why Ron Paul can't win. Yea, what he said. http://news.yahoo.com/why-ron-paul-not-republican-nomination-224614323.html;_ylt=AmfIrbYu1rdL8NjBQBYlCjqr9HQA;_ylu=X3oDMTRvN2RxaGVmBGNjb2RlA2dtcHRvcDEwMDBwb29sd2lraXVwcmVzdARtaXQDTmV3cyBmb3IgeW91BHBrZwNiODU5ZGE5My01NjFlLTNmNDAtOGRjZC0wNDc0YWQyZjA2MTEEcG9zAzYEc2VjA25ld3NfZm9yX3lvdQR2ZXIDZDc4ZWQ4OTAtMGU0OS0xMWUxLTkzNmQtYWE4MjI2Mjk4NDJi;_ylg=X3oDMTMwcTRoMnFjBGludGwDdXMEbGFuZwNlbi11cwRwc3RhaWQDNDFiNjQyNzItMGVjNS0zY2NjLTg3NmMtZTA5NzFlMGNiM2FiBHBzdGNhdANlbnRlcnRhaW5tZW50BHB0A3N0b3J5cGFnZQ--;_ylv=3

Ya know what? As I look at the GOP lineup, I think all Paul may have to do is outlast them. They all suck. Just stick around and watch the nominees fade away. The best thing that ever happened to the Democrats may be the GOP.

I have got to disagree with you on this one. I would like to have another choice, but mitten's so ordained by the other side (Ala McCain) will not get my vote.

Why? Wouldn't he be better than Obama?

Mitten's is a go back to sleep candidate for the Republicans who feel that all they want is peace and quiet. Me? I am not getting any younger. This nation is broken and I do not want to have to do the heavy lifting from my nursing home. Things are not going to get any better as long as the "statist" quo of technocrats and frauds continue to govern.

Any of the current crop of Republicans are no better. I think Paul is wrong on a lot of his foreign policy stands, but I am willing to cut him some slack on that if he can dismantle some of the beast. If he can get rid of DHSS and TSA, I would vote for him, or Mickey Mouse if he promised Minnie he would do it in a heartbeat.

Guess what I am trying to say is the enemy should be the enemy. A RINO that pretends to be my friend while continuing to enable the Police State we find ourselves in is no choice at all..

BTW, the apathy post was excellent. I linked to it today.

Thanks Toaster. I don't trust anyone but Paul because quite frankly I consider them all status quo elitists.

Drastic times call for drastic measures. We didn't get in this mess overnight and it's going to take a man with HUGE balls to get us out. Paul has already shown his personal courage...he gets chided for it all the time. The status quo don't want change. They are the beneficiaries. They are scared to death of Paul. Paul knows the truth about the FED. He knows the drug war is the greatest government waste of money of all time, second only to the war machine that masquerades as the US.

You want something different- elect the guy that scares the shit out of the status quo and ignored by the hated msm. How could this possibly make any more sense? Could Paul possibly be any worse than this marxist failure we have now? Not in a drunken stupor.

Voting for any of those other GOP morons is simply doing the same thing over again...hoping for different results. Fifty years of that shit is enough.

Anyway, that's my take. I vote Libertarian anyway unless Paul wins the GOP nominee then I won't. I'll let the rest of America waste their votes on our next status quo elitist.

I want with every fiber of body for Obama to lose. But, if we get anyone other than Paul, we'll most like end up in war anyway and that is Obama's goal also.

Just a thought:

Has anyone considered that when Obama loses, there will be race riots throughout the big cities?

I could be off-base on that one. But...I mean...it's not as if Sharpton and Jackson need any help.

I don't see any riots ecc. Obama is such a total failure on so many fronts...I think that even the color biased class accepts that he's gotta go.
