The Spirit of America- The Sunday Collage

 I am in a dive bar. Certainly not the Green Dragon Tavern. This is the Helsinki Club, last building in Finntown. In this very bar- murder, rape, and arson have been contemplated. Drugs and money have been exchanged. Every dirty, racist, joke ever conceived has been uttered in this place. Prostitution, gay sex, even a few fights.

So, when my friend, new owner, and Never Trumper told me that they did not discuss politics in the bar- I recognized immediately that he knew my politics were not his own. In the four or five times I have been warned about discussing politics in my life, it has always been by some liberal who is moderating and controlling the conversation. You are entitled to their opinion based on your global positioning at that very instant. Not your own.

With just a few days to go in this election, I think people tend to underestimate the Spirit of America. That is the finger and a hearty "fuck you!" to a government that seeks to moderate and control our lives. It was the same middle finger we thrust at King George. It was the same middle finger that the southern states thrust at Lincoln. It is the same middle finger Donald Trump has thrust at the media and the liberal politicians who have told him- "This is our bar. You are entitled to our brand of politics."

So here we are. The Spirit of America lives. 

What bigger "fuck you" can you utter while supporting a guy who has stood up to so many attacks, been knocked down 15 times, and staggers to his feet for the 16th time? A guy who was impeached twice for nonsense and shot once in the ear. A guy charged with every asinine crime the liberal left can conjure up? 

They wanted to give you another Bush or maybe a Clinton, some professional politician that would keep their fortunes intact. Some status quo piece of garbage but instead you got MAGA and the Spirit of America. 

Joe Biden spent 50 years in politics and accomplished nothing other than lining his own pockets. He was a safe, status quo politician like Bush or Clinton. He couldn't campaign and win so instead they just stole the election and told us to shut our mouths about it while giving us their dementia patient.

The Spirit of America is one of rebellion. In a world full of opinions, it is that guy who says- "I don't want your opinion, I have one of my own." I am going to trust my instincts. 

That's why they really hate you. They can't force their shitty opinions down your throat and you won't get in line and be an obedient slave. We saw it with a stolen election, we saw it with masks and vaccinations, we are seeing it with lawfare and the J6 committee. They are failing to make us obedient.

That's the real Spirit of America and in this bar, politics is always welcome.

Does It Take 52 Liars to Qualify As a Conspiracy Theory?- The Sunday Collage

 We're getting close to election day. You can smell it.

Judge Tanya Chutkan, in an attempt to smear Donald Trump, has decided to release 2000 pages of "evidence" that would damage his campaign. The timing of this release, 2-3 weeks before the election, was perfect. 

Remember the 51 experts who swore and signed affidavits that Hunter Biden's laptop was Russian disinformation just before the 2020 election? There was no investigation into that.

There was also no investigation into the results of the 2020 election. That was the one where we all went to sleep with Trump winning and sometime between 0100 and 0700, Joe Biden miraculously staged an epic comeback in every one of the states he had been losing.

So Chutkan, activist liberal that she is, checks in right on time with her attempt to influence the 2024 election. A little more on Chutkan.

Chutkan is a Jamaican immigrant. Tanya Chutkan's resume reads perfectly left. Appointment from Barack Obama, the Lightbringer. Provide abortions for in custody minors. Ruled that the Department of Education violated the law v the speed of implementation of the IDEA act- a Barack Obama era law. She postponed the execution of several inmates who were lawfully sentenced in which her decision was subsequently reversed. She released records from the Jan 6 demonstration that Donald Trump had sought to remain sealed. She has sentenced some 30- Jan 6 defendants- to the harshest punishment which sometimes has exceeded prosecutor recommendations. She is a democrat party donor. This week, Ms. Chutkan released more Trump trial transcripts stating that to not do so- amounted to election interference.

So you might be thinking Judge Chutkan's track record reads almost perfectly like a liberal activist judge. Making political decisions from the bench. That is precisely why Obama chose her.

So where the hell was Judge Chutkan when Hunter Biden's laptop was uncovered? We now know that not only did those 51 "experts" all lie in unison but that the laptop was genuinely owned by Hunter Biden and dropped off at a repair shop and abandoned. We also know that those 51 experts, mostly high ranking government employees, influenced media platforms enough to not only suppress the story but eliminate anyone from talking about it.

That is some serious election interference right there. Not one person has ever been prosecuted for it. It is probably the single greatest, provable conspiracy theory, of the past 4 years. All of this leads me to Kara Swisher, who is precisely the kind of person that I often wonder, "How the fuck does this person get on tv?"

Apparently if you are a liberal in America, you can make up any horseshit story you need to just so long as it remains in line with your political affiliation and motivations and those of the network you are spouting your nonsense on.

So I shall leave you with today with Kara Swisher. Ms. Swisher is a liberal lesbian from San Francisco. Here she is spouting nonsense that big tech did not collude with the government to suppress the laptop story- even though the NY Post was deplatformed for 16 days- until after the election. 15 Years of Frankenstein Government- The Sunday Collage

In 2009, I was 48 years old. Divorced, single, sober. My life was calm and serene. 

I wanted to write. Not because I think I am some superior, knowledgeable writer but because we were witnessing some of the worst government behavior that had ever taken place. When the government stole one trillion dollars' worth of taxpayer money and bailed out crooked bankers and banks, they were fully exposed. That level of theft was breathtaking. Things were going to get far worse.

People generally don't care about politics unless they are old, retired, and have the time to watch what the hell is going on. I will be the first to admit this was true for me. When I was younger, say twenties and thirties, I was too busy taking care of my patchwork family- earning a living, paying for things, fixing wrecked knees and straightening teeth, and bearing all the costs associated with life in America. We grow up distracted. 

With 60 hour work weeks, who had time for politics? I didn't. 

That all changed for me in 2007. I started paying attention. Lots of attention.

One of the things that happens when you write publicly is that you begin to receive comments. Most are good, some are critical. Many of them cause you to think.

What were the framers of the Constitution trying to accomplish? What are the federalist papers and why are they important? Who created and owns the FED? Where does money come from? How come absolutely nobody discusses the national debt?

I know the answer to those questions. I learned them right here. Comments by people more knowledgeable than I- forced me to check my wrong assumptions and opinions. I learned a great deal by publicly writing. In a way, you could say I earned my education here. The one I didn't get in college or political science 201.

I also witnessed the great flip flop of party platforms. I witnessed the democrats becoming the aristocracy of America and beating us with big government while the republicans became the party of middle class America. 

Donald Trump had a lot to do with that. So did Barack Obama.

I've enjoyed writing here. I've met some very fine people and some overly critical jerks. But I learn something from every one of them and if I hadn't written here publicly, I would have missed out on a great deal about things I was completely clueless about.

We've got about 7 weeks to the greatest election in my lifetime. We have two of the most bizarre candidates running for President. One is a no bullshit sort of guy who tends to piss people off with his critical comments and name calling- while mostly black prosecutors charge him with various made up crimes hoping to discredit him. The other candidate is a complete fraud and failure who is actually quite evil. She pretends to be centrist but she's not. She is the worst kind of person- completely fake with a very dark agenda. I think she is trying to be Obama 3.0, only far worse.

In fact, for the first time since the 90's, I'm actually going to vote. God help me if I end up on a jury list somewhere. 

What I learned here, is that you don't learn anything without risk. If you want to post superficial nonsense, that is what you will get in return.  Superficial and useless replies. But if you want to actually learn something, take a stand, form an opinion, and put it out there. It's like fishing. You never know what you might catch. 

Lake Mead National Park Ranger Nails Scofflaw

 The story I'm about to tell you is absolutely true. I didn't think this kind of shit could happen in 2024. Not with body cams and allegedly- superior training.

Now as many of you know, I spent 25 years in law enforcement. As a result of that vast error in judgement- I conducted somewhere in the neighborhood of 20,000 traffic stops and went to a few thousand calls. Conducting the verbal part of a traffic stop is relatively simple. You contact the driver, tell the driver the reason for the stop, listen to the response, and decide if it's something you need to write a ticket for. Good cops shoot for compliance first without a ticket.

Anyone who told me the unvarnished truth on a traffic stop- never received a ticket. Somewhat rare but not unheard of. So those are my rules, unpublished for sure and not agreed upon by all. Those rules were clearly not communicated to the cop who stopped me on January 30, Officer Johnson.

I am travelling south on a highway that goes along the west side of Lake Mead, near Las Vegas. I am also within the confines of Lake Mead National Park, policed by federal park rangers.

On this particular day, 3 trucks, service trucks which are caravaning, ignore a yield sign and pull out in front of me on the highway and proceed to do something akin to 10 MPH under the posted speed of 50 MPH. I follow them for a few miles when I realize that I may die of old age before I reach my destination. So I pass all three.

Instead of continuously solid yellow lines, the park uses those centerline rumble dots, worn and faded from the Vegas sun. Traffic is sparse and non-existent- because it is 50 degrees outside which is bitterly cold for the people who inhabit this part of the desert. 

This act of passing defiantly pisses off the lead caravanner guy driving some sort of pickup truck fitted with one of those metal boxes with all of the smaller cargo doors. The guy starts chasing us. He is no match for our car and so he never really gets too close- but it causes us to speed a little- maybe 10 or 15 over for a mile or two to stay far enough ahead of him. That's when we see Officer Johnson.  

Officer Johnson flashes his light at us. He turns to apprehend us. I choose to pull over in a boat ramp area which is off the highway and much safer but it's 1/2 mile down the road. I make it there before he gets directly behind us. This highway has no shoulder.

Johnson doesn't pull us over from behind, he intercepts us like he is blocking our escape. He jumps out of the car, excited, and the first thing out of his mouth is "are there any guns in the car?!" I answer him. 

Johnson just sort of shouts things at me, like "why are you driving here and where are you going?" Not once does he mention why he stopped us. He collects my documents and he is so over the top aggressive, I am actually worried that this nutjob is going to try and take me to jail if I offer any resistance. So I distract him with some other issues, try to get him to calm down. Tell him I am a retired cop. Two blue hairs for chrissakes, not Bonnie and Clyde.

I wasn't trying to get out of a ticket, I knew that was a done deal. I was trying to avert a trip to jail.

Eventually he returns with a ticket for "unsafe operation" which I think is some oddball term for a boater speeding through the buoys on the lake except that this ticket is 380 dollars and akin to careless driving. I asked him what I did wrong. He says, "you were doing 57 mph in a 45 zone, you touched the yellow, and you eluded me."

That's when I knew Officer Johnson was not only a bad cop and full of shit, but that he made up a story to suit his outlandish behavior. I may have been guilty of the speed and probably was but nothing else. I noted he had a body cam on. Thank God I thought.

I also believed that it was the motorist I passed that phoned this in but not a word about that from Officer Johnson.

You do not receive a court date when you are ticketed by the Lake Mead Rangers. The park uses some clearinghouse in Texas which issues you a summons if you have not paid the ticket. So I wait. After two months, I call them. "Do you wish to contest the ticket?" Why yes I do. The clearinghouse says the ticket was never turned in. I think, maybe Johnson finally came to his senses.

In late August, I receive a court date in the mail. Nothing else. I finally email the rangers office and ask if I am entitled to discovery, if this is a trial or initial appearance, or just what the hell this is. The rangers office emails me later and says there is a government official who will review your case and offer a plea bargain. They give me a phone number. I email back and say I plan on going to court, I will talk to the official there.

So I travel the 150 miles to federal court in Las Vegas. It's a total pain in the ass, finding parking, evading the immigration line, getting searched, and you must provide ID. Then find your court room. I make it with 10 minutes to spare. There my case is called. There is a government official, I presume a lawyer, who takes me into the hallway and reads what Officer Johnson wrote.

There for the first time, my wife and I hear an almost entirely different version of events. This time Officer Johnson writes that he received a call of a reckless driver who passed three cars and nearly hit two bicyclists on the road. (There were no bicyclists) He then located the vehicle traveling at 57 mph in a 45 zone, which then crossed a double yellow line on the highway, before turning into a parking area whilc traveling 30 mph in a 15 zone in the parking lot. 

Wow. I was pissed. My wife was just sick. What kind of cop makes this shit up? In my day, a soon to be fired cop, that's who.

I told the "government official" this 2nd version of Officer Johnson's was also untrue, and the body cam would bear this out. I was going to go to trial. He offered me a deal where I would pay a 20 dollar fine plus court costs and the whole thing would go away and not be reported anywhere. 

I am a coward. I should have gone to trial. People like Johnson should be rooted out and fired before they damage other motorists. In my day as chief, I would have tried to retrain Johnson while placing him on probation- but let him go if the retraining didn't take hold. 

I took the deal. So 50 bucks and I was done with this nonsense.

I don't travel through Lake Mead Park anymore. I go through Henderson/Las Vegas. 

In my day, law enforcement was still an honorable profession. We tried to be decent but I am sure we failed from time to time. But what I never did was make some shit completely up, overcharging some motorist because I was angry or agitated. Cops call this contempt of cop. Apparently, Officer Johnson's tolerance for adversity is very low. 

I feel bad that all of those tickets I handed out over the years probably did little more than raise insurance rates for people already burdened by excessive insurance costs. I often wonder what good it did. 

I hope Officer Johnson comes to his senses. I sure have. 

Joe Biden Saves Democracy! -The Sunday Collage

On July 21, 2024, President Joe Biden offered up his re-election resignation on "X" formerly known as Twitter.

I guess that's what it was because the letter doesn't state his intent with any kind of precision.

It was an incredible letter. It wasn't on letterhead; it was just a few paragraphs of mumbo jumbo with the usual lies and other assorted nonsense one associates with Biden. It was purportedly signed by Biden with a signature I do not recognize.

Having read the letter a few times, it reminds me of some poorly written scrap someone might conjure up to play nice with Joe while recapping his presidential past. It avoids any details regarding anything of relevance or substance. It reminds me of one of those hastily written confession statements that police departments used to write up and tell a suspect to sign.

There is not one chance in hell that Biden authored this letter. Not one. It begs the questions. Who wrote this letter (while Joe was recovering from Covid in Rehoboth) and why was it suddenly presented via social media as though it was such an urgent message that it simply could not wait a few days and be delivered in some personal fashion like a television announcement? 

The letter that could not wait. 

So it was, I certainly had a few questions. I waited for the big reveal, scheduled for Wednesday evening, a mere 3 days ago as I write this.

I have to be honest. I can't stand to listen to Joe Biden. He is a fucking numbskull. When Joe Biden, grand criminal that he is, starts talking about values, character, honesty, and integrity- I think I throw up in my mouth a little bit. 

So I just had to bear down and put up with it. I knew it wouldn't be too long because Joe simply can't string together enough coherent thoughts and sentences by himself without reading them off a teleprompter. So that's what we got.

And about 3 minutes in- there it was! Joe was stepping aside to save our democracy. He was putting aside his personal ambitions. He was passing the torch to a new generation.

This is something Joe hadn't been able to do in 54 years. But suddenly he realized it was time to save democracy. 

So whoever pushed him out, like Obama, Clinton, and the democratic party (Joe refers to them as the party elites) had allowed him to run out the clock. Now bear in mind, he is the democratic party nominee. He registered as the incumbent and garnered 13 million votes. He was selected and Kamala Harris was not.

If you really wanted to endorse Kamala and pass the torch Joe- the simple, quick, and legal way would be to resign and let Kamala become President and run.

Now I do not know by what process, the democratic party uses to force one duly elected (by the people) nominee out and transfer all of the money and votes that nominee has obtained and deliver them to someone else the party selects. In fact, that might be the most undemocratic thing I have ever seen.

But that's what they do. Install a tinpot dictator. Then try to rig another election. The CIA has been doing it all over the world for decades.

I have listened to Joe's speech a few times. The best way to do it- is to watch and read the subtitles to get an idea of just how bad Biden is butchering everything on the teleprompter. He even quotes Benjamin Franklin on the last day of the constitutional convention in 1787. But he butchers that also.

Democracy has never needed saving. It has survived quite nicely in either a direct or representative form for centuries, sometimes devolving into mob rule democracy. Democracy doesn't need any help from Joe Biden or anyone else for that matter.

What needed saving this week was our republic. The only people that can do that now are in Congress. 

We have a duly elected nominee. Is it our fault that the media and democratic leadership lied and obscured the extent of Biden's senility? No. I listened to KJ Pierre, Biden's Press Secretary, tell me he was fine day after day. Does this mean that now that Biden's senility has been fully exposed, that a duly elected candidate's votes and money can simply be transferred to someone else? Also no.

The democratic party and the media lied to us. They should bear the responsibility for their lies. Biden should either step down or run against Trump. Instead, we will get 6 months' worth of lame duck edicts and even more damage from Biden and the democrats. If only the congressional GOP had a spine. 

It's like a never ending shitshow. I can't wait to see the pardon list.

Was It Worth the Trouble, Mr. Trump?

 Several years ago, as Ann Coulter (2016) was being laughed at for predicting the Trump presidential win, I was reading a piece about why working-class America was supporting a billionaire. It was a nasty piece, a hit job, explaining that poor, working class Americans were a bunch of dupes enamored by wealth and fame. Deplorables, according to Hillary.

It was also total bullshit. 

Over the years after Hillary Clinton, perhaps one of the most highly effective criminals in America lost her bid to become President, I came to understand the widespread appeal of Donald Trump.

It wasn't polished bullshit, it wasn't party support, experience, or a career of broken political promises. It was something else entirely. Something that I treasured. 

To be sure, I was not a Trump supporter back then. I am a strict adherent to George Carlin's political views in that we keep electing these rich assholes and nothing changes. So I skipped the voting process in 2016 for that reason and also that I lived in Idaho. We all knew who the winner was going to be anyway.

The truth is, I don't watch television much and I didn't know diddly squat about who Donald Trump was. But I must admit, watching these liberal clowns spew their fear and hatred everywhere, Trump started to pick up traction for me. So it was, that I watched President Trump very closely throughout those 4 years.

I came to realize who he was and what he was and I began to actually like this guy. 

First and foremost, Trump represented a big "fuck you" to the last 20 year's worth of Presidents who sold us out to China, Mexico, bankers, insurers, and war mongers. 

Trump is authentic. He says things which are not veiled in hypocrisy or convenient lies. Some of it can be deliberate, derogatory observations he has made of situations and people. I would call that his truth. He calls shit exactly the way he sees it. It makes liberal heads explode.

His war with the media was epic. Still is. Filled with liberal pansies, Trump called them out at every turn.

We knew he would not need to take campaign bribes like Obama did and therefore, there would be no political payback like the thousands of fraud committing bankers that Obama let off the hook.

Or Obamacare. The great health insurance bailout that screwed many of us and took away our right to determine our own healthcare and who could provide it.

Trump represented the American dream. The dream of his father and his own dream. That if you work hard and long, you can achieve whatever you want in America. 

But the two things I admire most about Trump are things that are simply not possessed by most people. They both involve tremendous personal courage gone missing today.

The first is his ability to just tell people the way that it is. The way that he sees things. He doesn't give two shits for your feelings. He has a goal in mind, he wants to achieve it, and you better get on board with it or get gone. Telling people they are useless, when in fact they are useless, is something to behold. Whether it's a career bureaucrat like Anthony Fauci, or a lying and deceptive William Barr, calling these people what they are- is something every one of us wishes we could do. Here in minion world most of us lack the personal courage to do that and we certainly fear the downstream destruction of our resumes'. But we admire it. 

The last item and probably the most important character trait Donald possesses is resiliency. This guy is like the terminator. He just keeps coming. You cannot knock him down and keep him down.  Impeached twice over nonsense, charged with 71 make believe felonies, and Trump just mows through it all. Wasting millions on his defense for acts that should have been covered and seen within the scope of his duties- he not only perseveres but he makes a mockery of the lawyers, prosecutors, and politicians who hate him.

With all the shit Trump has gone through including the stolen re-election bid with 51 government "experts" claiming the Hunter's laptop was Russian disinformation, spying on his campaign, make believe Russian dossiers, search warrants, 30 year old allegations with not one piece of physical proof, and court room after court room- he reminds me of a scene in the mountain man movie, "Jeremiah Johnson." After dozens of Crow Indians attack and try to kill Johnson and get killed themselves, Johnson is greeted by another mountain man, Chris Lapp, who happened upon Johnson in the beginning of the film. Lapp looks at Johnson years later and asks, "was it worth the trouble?" 

Johnson lifts his chin and says, "eh, what trouble?"

 Today, they convicted Former President Trump today on 34 counts of make believe bullshit fabricated from a 17 year old tryst with a porn star. 

At it's very worst, Donald Trump may have gotten a piece of ass on the side. He may have used campaign funds to give Ms. Daniels 130,000 to shut up about it. He may have (gasp) lied.

Let's conjure up some perspective.

Of all the whores in the Whitehouse, JFK was probably the worst. Kennedy was a well documented sex addict. The "Stormy" of his day was a film star named Marilyn Monroe. Men (and women) have been screwing around on their spouses since time began. Millions upon millions and probably billions. Clinton paid Paula Jones 7 times what Daniels received. Where was the big witch trial then?

So men like to get laid. Unscrupulous women provide vaginas. There is nothing proprietary there. No news flash. 

The US government spends 100's of billions of dollars a year on welfare, wars, shitty student and housing loans, bond interest. They waste TRILLIONS every year apparently without any laws or governance. They create inflation by issuing covid relief bills and other horse shit spending bills. Inflation is costing me 600 a month since 2021. Am I supposed to be all pissed off because one man, may or may not have, given some porn star 130k to shut the fuck up? Money that undoubtedly went untaxed.

Oh yes, 130,000 wasted on TV ads is a much better expenditure than hush money. Either way the 130k is wasted. Money is always wasted on something. Bad investments, booze, drugs, women, art, shitty cars, and RVs. That's what it's for.

So yeah, I don't care.

The real culprit isn't Donald Trump. 

The real villain in our story is a runaway government that is killing the American way of life. We have lost our manufacturing base to a lobbyist-based Congress that sold us the fuck out in 2000. Our healthcare system, bad as it was, was made infinitely worse when Obama stole the system with some horrible bill nobody read, bailing out insurers and his campaign donor buddies. The Supreme Court then stuck us with that new tax. Our crooked federal agencies. The CIA, the FBI, the FED, and the BLS.

Then our government installs a real live criminal, Joe Biden, who sets about the task of fucking over the working class while issuing 9 trillion in covid relief which has largely gone missing and caused the greatest inflation in 50 years. Enriching the already rich American aristocracy who receive the money first and invest it into bloated markets and real estate. After taking bribes in the millions from China, Russia, and the Ukraine- Biden has paid the Ukraine off for those bribes- nearly 200 billion worth of war funds. Remember the laptop and the 51 "experts" who claimed it was Russian disinformation to help rig the election for Biden? Did they get prosecuted? Then we have the great covid cover up, which nearly cost me my life, 9 days on the ventilator and 175,000 in hospital bills. The disease our government helped create which our government then covered up with the help of that Fauci fuck. Two year's worth of assholes telling us how to live, vaccines that kill, crooked drug companies and the FDA that cover up vaccine injuries, and masks that did not work. All those fucking lies.

But you want Americans to be upset, to actually care whether Trump banged some broad 17 years ago or maybe lied about some wasted campaign funds??

You gotta be kidding me. 

I am sick of the lies, the inability to balance a budget, and the leftist propaganda on everything from continual cover-ups to climate change, to gender and race baiting. I am tired of the nonstop taxes and runaway inflation. I am tired of getting yelled at by an old criminal fool shuffling about on a stage somewhere in front of 5 or 6 people. I am tired of rigged elections, congressmen becoming millionaires overnight, and assholes telling me I am an idiot for thinking something is wrong. The American judiciary provides shelter for the aristocracy and federal over reach- we the people, not so much. Unless you can write a six figure check- you aren't gonna rate a glance. Due process my ass. If they can take out Trump- they can certainly squash a bug like you or me.

Trump isn't the end. This is just the beginning of something far worse.
