Where do they get these morons? I am not surprised that Mr. Camping lives in Oakland, Ca. That places him in close proximity to Berkeley, another safe haven for nutters.
Reverend Camping has now revised his new rapture date for Oct. 21. I suppose his ego would not allow for an apology and a confession that he is a charlatan. So he is going to go with the new date. After Oct. 21 comes and goes, wondering what excuse he will use for an encore. Good grief. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110524/ap_on_re_us/us_apocalypse_saturday

The United States Government, Modern Anarchists
For most of my life, I was a lawman. Pretty much law abiding- except for speed limits.
In the United States, at least while I was a young man, we had a presumptive belief that the United States had a rule of law and/or if the USG chose not to obey or abide by the law- then they damn sure did a good job of covering it up.
That shit is no longer true. That is why I very often call our government a thugocracy. Because it is. Nothing exemplifies that more than thousands of criminal bankers committing fraud and being given a get out of jail free card. This president of ours is a thug with an agenda. He had no intention of prosecuting the same thieves that got him elected. And Eric Holder? Who the fuck is that?
They act this way because they can. They have the juice. For now.
Let me be perfectly clear. In the years to come, when what used to be perfectly law abiding citizens go bat shit crazy, the USG will have nobody to blame but themselves. They do not set any kind of honorable example nor do they even try to. I am surprised that 3 or 4 years later- that a couple hundred thousand people have not descended on D.C. and strung up a few hundred politicians.
Sooner or later, it's going to dawn on the majority of people that their standard of living was mortgaged for the benefit of crooked bankers.
That's the difference between the good guys and the bad guys. Middle class Americans set a far better example than our alleged "leaders." Obama and Holder should be ashamed of themselves. I loved this piece on ZeroHedge. Not only do they lack honor, they lack courage. No wonder people hate politics- there's just not much to like. http://www.zerohedge.com/article/attention-shifts-rip-van-eric-holder-who-contrary-conventional-wisdom-not-frozen-carbonite

Join Me in Swearing Off TV For a Year
I have a beautiful 40" inch Samsung TV. It is two years old.
Two years ago, I ordered Direct Satellite TV. It was about 50 bucks a month for about a year and then they jacked the cost up to 70 bucks a month.
I like to watch TV. It is a mindless distraction. Mostly I use television to watch sports and the "stock channel." Maybe "River Monsters" once in awhile. So as the cable and satellite tv providers do every thing in their power to gouge us to the tune of about 1000 dollars a year, I wondered. Could I go without mindless television programming for a year? Do I really need this? What would I miss?
I don't think my girlfriend is really hip on this idea but she has her own television at her place. I also have about 25 books gathering dust- I think reading them would be a far more useful endeavor than listening to Marc whatshisname on CNBC kiss President Obama's ass a few dozen more times. Moonbats. For this I have to pay money.
So it's not strictly a money issue. It's a "how do I want to use my time and money" issue and where is the bigger benefit? Reading... or listening to these harpies day in and day out.
So I am going to try it- at least for awhile and see what happens. I have the internet and I can still rent a few movies. I think I am going to take the 1000 bucks I save and buy silver with it. Two ounces a month. I will just use the Samsung as a living room decoration.

Stuck on the Rock
Well, after saying all of my "good byes" yesterday, exactly nothing happened. No rapture for me. Stuck on this rock with all of the moonbats.
Great. Just great.
Now I am going to have to wait for the next rapture. Does anyone know when the next one is scheduled?

Rapture Ready
One of the problems I have had with buying my new house recently- was that I am fairly certain that when the rapture occurs, I won't be needing the house. Harold Camping thinks the rapture occurs tomorrow.

That's the problem with these rapture events. The rapture makes planning your life, at least financially, problematic.
I am one of those lunatics that believes that Jesus Christ was indeed my savior. Not an enlightened guy or a guy in touch with his inner child. I believe that Christ was indeed, the real deal.
That belief presents me with a couple of odd dilemmas. I think that it is a little presumptuous of me to think that I am worthy. Maybe I won't go. That would suck. Getting left behind with a bunch of atheistic moonbats. Can you imagine the horror? Secondly, does this rapture thing happen at midnight and do people on the east coast get raptured early, like according to time zones? I doubt anyone on Wall St. has much to worry about. I do have a few friends on the east coast that I probably should say goodbye to before 10 PM Mountain Time. Traveling could get hazardous tonight as well. If you are on some red eye flight and both of your pilots are Christians, you might want to brush up on your airplane flying skills. Or maybe just cancel your travel plans altogether.
Today I've been saying my good byes just on the off chance that "lift off" occurs tomorrow. Have stranger things happened? Not exactly. But if I get scooped, I just want to thank you for your support.

I'm For Arnold
This moving shit is for young people. Not. for. me. I shall die in this house. I just hope it ain't this week.
Great news this week. I gotta tell ya a story. Now see- I used to police for the rich and famous. I refused to work private security for them but I always let the staff do it. One of the people that the 'boys used to provide security for was Arnold S. and Maria Schriver.
Now the boys were good cops. Pretty good judges of character and they loved Arnold. Arnold is a man's man by every measure. He is also a libertarian which blends perfectly with his Austrian background. Arnold has no business in Moonbat valley. He does not belong there or in California.
The boys hated Maria Shriver. By every account they would tell me what a bitch she was. In fact, the boys said she would send her kids out to tell them to do things rather than talk to them herself. The kids were like 6 or 7 years old back then. That security detail was in a nice place just north of Ketchum and dried up rather quickly.
Anyway, when news of Arnold's love child broke, I giggled. Arnold for all of that male DNA- is about to get chastised like all men do, ala Tiger. You ever notice how cheating women never get lit up? Like if women cheat, they were entitled to? I'd love to put that Maria on a polygraph and find out just how faithful she has been. That would be some funny shit.
I don't consider Maria the catch of the century. Prissy, spoiled, and an entitled product of the elite. Give her half your shit Arnold and get out. Plenty of women out there and some pretty nice ones. Divorce costs a lot because it is worth it.

Moving Is So Much Fun...
I finally bought one of the two million homes Bank of America and Countrywide are trying to unload. I paid precisely 1/2 of what the home sold for in 2005.
I probably overpaid.
So for the past 3 weeks, we have been gutting the place. New kitchen, new bathroom, new windows, new carpeting...it's gotten so bad that when I walk in to Home Despot they say- we'll see you tomorrow. Smart asses. Probably moonbats.
Anyway...this is my long winded way of telling you that for the next three days, I won't have much time to write. We will resume regularly scheduled moonbat and government hating around Wednesday or so.
Until then Weird and Pissed Off might be a good place to visit. Good stuff. http://productiveclassrevolt.blogspot.com/
