Keeping Name, Changing Content

I had a few people email me about my proposed changes.

A couple of them, especially Mark W., convinced me that the name- "Frankenstein Government" was sort of iconic and aptly described whatever type of nanny state government we have devolved into.

I came up with that name after the government, and especially Hank Paulson and Congress, wrote blank checks to all of the crooked bankers who should now be out of business or locked up. That those bastards are free and thriving- makes me sick.

When the criminals are made whole, and an innocent society is victimized, that's when you know your government has truly left the fucking rails.

But I am going to slowly change the content.

This week I want to talk about the corporate oligarchy preying on our culture. I think I'm gonna take a little trip on Elvis around Thurs just to get out of town for a while. Maybe I will do a little "on the road" piece with pictures of weird shit.

Yea. That sounds fun.

Taking pictures of weird shit. Well at the rate that America is devolving it should be a short and inexpensive trip.
I live in the Midwest and anytime I want to see weird shit I only have to drive ten minutes. Remember what Steven Wright once said, "I used to take drugs to make things look weird, now I take drugs to make things look normal".

Brian, can you change the tiles on the main page? It's seriously like playing a video game trying to select a tile to view it. Sometimes it will take me 30 seconds just to click the tile in the microdot special spot to select your topic....usually it just flips around for ever.

Brian: Mark W-here. HIGH-FIVE!

Thanks for retaining the 'iconic' blog name. YOU HAVE CREATED A MONSTER-CLASSIC!
I've been all around the world on business mainly, and all the people I have met in these different countries, couldn't be more gracious. I have not been to the Mideast. Indonesia is the closest.

When one watches A Bourdain's PART'S UNKNOWN, one sees this same MO. The show drills down to Bourdain and crew, breaking bread with others from every nook and cranny on the planet, and demonstrating how gracious others are. He's respectful, and is welcomed.

What I'm getting at, is the 99%-all share the same basic desires, needs, etc., but it is the 1%-GOV'T's (which is driven by the banking cartel and lawyers), that have things so f'd up. The corruption and greed is stupefying.

As Regan said, 'gov't isn't the solution; gov't is the problem'.

IF we could ever see some real leadership, and what's best for the country as a whole, driving the agenda, we could turn things around.

Best to all!
