A President, Completely Detached From Reality, Sells MyRa

This morning I was looking over financial markets to see just how bad things were eroding. As I was doing that, I stumbled onto an article talking about another Obama proposal. I realized I had skipped Obama's State of the Union speech and therefore I must have missed Obama unveiling a new retirement plan for Americans.

The new MyRa plan would allow Americans to buy government debt, bonds, directly from the government to secure some sort of return for "retirement." Buy the debt of a country already 17.5 trillion in the hole with no way of reducing the principal amount. The article I read was actually selling this as a good idea. I am in awe once again.

This government just can't keep it's hands off your money.

I cannot stop thinking about Japan. With a debt to GDP ratio north of 220%- Japanese citizens own most of the country's debt. This is precisely what President Five Iron wants you to do. Start buying American debt because nobody else in the world will. They have run out of customers and you are the customer of last resort.

Anybody, with half a brain, is not going to buy the debt of a country offering no collateral with a currency on the verge of default. But maybe the American sheeple will.

This is a government that simply refuses to quit spending- ever.

I fell into the government trap years ago. I started a secondary retirement plan because I could do so "tax free." What a line of shit that was. I was barely able to hang onto it through a divorce and then I caught the great depression. I was forced to cash out that retirement plan. The government took it's 10% penalty, another 20% off the top in taxes, and the state took their 6%.

So not only did I lose nearly half the value of my savings but I also received what remained- in newly minted, inflated QE dollars.

Don't ever, ever, forget what I am about to tell you. Don't ever trust this government. If it is offering you a "retirement plan" what that really means is that the government wants to steal your money, change the rules at will, and the money you save today will be paid back to you at some future date with a completely devalued currency that the government can print at will- backed by nothing. Zimbabwe dollars. That's the real key. The government will simply erode your savings completely away by printing money.

That's their solution. A hyperinflation event is the only means of eliminating the debt they have accumulated and I guarantee you it will happen.

If all of this weren't bad enough- we haven't even seen the effects of Obamacare yet not to mention the 8 new tax hikes going into effect after this year. I think President Five Iron is beginning to realize that Obamacare is DOA.

Compounding this even further, the entire working middle class is broke. They don't have money for retirement. There are 100 million of us out of the labor force. What the following chart doesn't capture is the 5% decline in disposable income from 2009 until now- double what this graph depicts.

To call Obama reckless is too simplistic. This is a guy completely detached from the reality of what is actually occurring in this country. The government is quickly running out of tricks. Don't fall for this one.

When Boys Played Like Men (With Some Seahawk Hatred Thrown In)- The Sunday Collage

Superbowl Sunday in my past life was my biggest holiday. We got it on. Oh the parties. There was drunken debauchery, laughing, frottage, (spell check does not recognize that word) hella big drinking, and some other things that didn't amount to anything beyond simple misdemeanors. I vaguely remember someone passing out in a plate of food once, people taking off clothes, unfortunately they were always men. Kiss music blaring every year at the half.

The problem with all of that fun is that we were the police department. We kept it pretty quiet but the harsh reality was- I think people knew. Wives were forced into piloting us home. One of the last, great parties resulted in me getting my ass chewed all the way home. And I'll tell ya something else. I remember that.

I haven't really cared who won the Superbowl since Peyton Manning handed the Saints their first win- but this year is different. I've watched Seattle talk trash this entire season, especially Golden Tate. The Seahawk players are terrible. I'm not just talking Sherman after the San Francisco win either. This group of players are punks. They can't make a play without doing some sort of dance. Many of them run their mouths and it's no mystery to me why San Francisco hates these clowns. I never root for smart asses. So I'd like to see John Fox come back from heart surgery, Peyton Manning and Wes Welker get revenge, and watch as the greatest crew of receivers in the league hand the Seahawks their asses on Sunday. Justice would be served all the way around. Their fans can scream all they want- but it won't help them in New York.  I have no mercy for this undisciplined bunch.

I think Denver can win after seeing them humiliate the best defense in the league twice this year. Kansas City had shut every team down until they ran into the Denver buzzsaw.

I grew up watching some very good players- but my all time favorite player was Ronnie Lott. Like Sherman, Lott played cornerback but unlike Sherman- Lott was simply the greatest corner to ever play. Lott came running at receivers like a missile and I remember actually cringing when he hit players. Ronnie could bring it. He even finished playing a game once after losing part of his finger. That's tough. And not once do I ever remember Ronnie Lott running his mouth or talking trash about his opponents. Every once in awhile I saw Ronnie linger over the crumpled body of an opposing player- I have always believed Ronnie was trying to determine whether or not to administer CPR.

One day my hero walked into the Woodside bakery (just east of Redwood City, Ca) and I gotta say- he just oozes class.

In fact, that whole San Francisco team back then had a lot of class. That's coaching and player leadership delivered by the likes of Bill Walsh and Joe Montana.

The '85 Bears were trash talkers too but they were just nutty and fun. They had a good time without harassing opponents or telling them they were mediocre. That had something to do with Ditka.

As I was writing this I began to wonder why some people seem to have class and others don't. I observed a lot of folks in action over the years and I think I can tell you what the difference is. In one word. Selflessness.

Selflessness is born out of parents who teach respect for all people and all walks of life. People with class treat others like they really care about them. In fact, genuine class will shock you when you see it. You might wonder- why is this person so nice to me? Do they treat everyone this way?

Pay attention to how people treat the waiter. That is how they treat others.

It's not about verbal restraint or discipline. Or tactics. Or keeping your mouth shut. Class is about modeling and the way you were raised. It's about having respect for people knowing that each one of them has a part to play in your life and that you are no better or worse than any of them. It's about the conscious knowledge that you are not the only human being on the planet who matters or wants a pat on the back. It's about respecting others because you care at the very least- about how others feel. You want to and therefore you strive- to lift people up. You are selfless.

If you have a manager trying to groom others to loftier heights than they themselves have achieved- you have found someone with class.

I wish that I could tell you that I was one of those people. I cannot. I had a few moments here and there but mostly I was self absorbed. Unfortunately, I spent most of my life living like an unconscious idiot- kind of like Sherman without the talent or that nappy hair. What moments of conscious class I did have- were usually brought about as the result of someone with class modeling that attribute for me and I in turn- practiced it like I had invented it.

People matter. When this culture of ours realizes that avarice- couple with self absorbed and apathetic behavior is destroying us- then we can finally begin to chart a healing course.

Until then we will have grandstanding, trash talking, dances, and gestures galore. Once in awhile- they may actually squeeze some football in. Let's hope so.

I miss the days when boys played like men.

A Squandered Life By Adam Carolla- The Sunday Collage

The story I'm about to tell you is true. It might very well be called, "They don't know what they don't know."

On Friday I flew to Seattle with co-workers. One of those co-workers was a 21 year old liberal girl who has her nose pierced. I don't know about you- but these nose piercings look kind of stupid and unattractive to me. That's just my opinion. I am in awe at the number of women who have done this.

At the Boise Airport we all dutifully lined up for the pre flight jug fuck and strip search that has now become a part of our flying lives. Just after getting scanned- TSA pulled me off the line because they discovered a nine inch screwdriver that I forgot to remove from my backpack. Not only did they take the screwdriver but they proceeded to tell me that screwdrivers up to 7" are allowable. Apparently, no pilot has ever been killed by a seven incher.

In a sort of related story, this guy refused to show ID and beat the government machine. http://www.abqjournal.com/news/metro/22234431metro01-22-11.htm#ixzz2rYxX0MnB

A quick story. Three years ago, my girlfriend actually went through the checkpoint with a  .38 revolver in her purse. I had put it in her purse. When she discovered the gun and called me from the plane I told her not to say a word. Undoubtedly, she would have been arrested and the TSA would have told every newspaper in the world how they had foiled another terrorist attempt.

Meanwhile back at the line...

To add insult to the public embarrassment of having been caught with an obvious weapon of mass destruction- my 21 year old co-worker began to tell me what I need to do next time to have a successful encounter with TSA, I guess because she is much more savvy than folks like me. Plus she added, they are only doing their "jobs." I deserved all of this you see, because I failed to find the screwdriver while packing the backpack.

When I tried to explain the genesis of this TSA- government intrusion into our lives- she told me that she didn't want to hear my "conspiracy theories." I asked her if she had ever heard of building 7. She said she had not. Quick math meant she was about 8 when the towers came down. I suppose nobody told the 8 year olds about building 7.

This level of contempt is not only disrespectful but it comes from the mind of a 21 year old liberal with a pierced nose. I immediately began to wonder about her parents and what a wonderful job they did raising their daughter. I opted out of any further conversation with her the entire trip.

On Saturday, our guest speaker was Adam Carolla. Adam gave a one hour talk about his parents who squandered away their lives and as their son, he became determined not to follow suit. I couldn't help but think that the only thing separating Adam from anything else- was luck. This guy didn't even go to college but he did have the good fortune to stumble across Jimmy Kimmel and together they started the "Man Show." As Carolla spoke about his life and how intelligent he was while avoiding a giant episode of squandry- I did note that he had parlayed a little fame into 15,000 dollar speaking engagements.

Our company spent in the neighborhood of 50,000 dollars on the annual meeting. They can't find the means to pay us more than ten bucks an hr. nor will they pay overtime. But they spent the entire day telling us how important we were to the company while pissing away 15 thousand on Adam Carolla.

The company likes to give themselves cash awards at the end of the annual meeting. These go mostly to the home office people up in Seattle. They probably squandered 10 grand or so on that.

One of the guys I work with is a little Ukrainian fella named Sergei. Sergei is a straight arrow who has a couple of kids, believes in God, and is the kind of American that Americans used to be. Whenever I see extravaganzas- such as our company flying us all to Seattle for the annual tail wagging event- I find myself apologizing to Sergei. I do that I think because I am embarrassed. I am embarrassed that Sergei can't find a job that pays more than 10 bucks an hour and with that- he is supposed to raise two kids, pay a mortgage, and buy health insurance on the Obamacare exchange while our company pisses away three times Sergei's annual salary on a meeting.

I kind of got reflective after the meeting- the internal haves v the have nots conflict- that I think about after witnessing things like this.

On the way home, the vacant seat next to me was taken up by a rather nasty, older woman who I had the misfortune of trying to be nice to. She was from Anchorage on her way to Sun Valley. Having spent half of my life in Moonbat Valley, I have to say she was a strong fit there. She was clearly annoyed by my pleasantries and really could care less about anything I had to say. So she put her face in a book, "Proof of Heaven" and we flew home in silence. It gave me plenty of time to think. In fact, as she got up to leave, she said nothing to me. I fully expected that. I mean after all, I have a lot of experience with the snobby, elite, and entitled folks who have migrated to Moonbat Valley over the years.

This is how it is in America.

I have often wondered how it is that older generations tends to look on the following generations with contempt and disdain. These are the things I wonder about when I sit in silence hemmed in by an angry woman looking for God in a book. Today's Americans are not interested in other people. They are not interested in the lives of Ukrainian immigrants or of retired police chiefs. They are interested in themselves, how much money they can make, electronic gadgetry and big screen tvs, superficial things like pierced noses and texting. They are interested in famous people like Justin Bieber and Adam Carolla, boob jobs, and mostly themselves.

It's not a rite of passage. It is simply an observation made by older Americans. Older Americans have been witnessing the cultural decay of a society that doesn't have time for civility or the less fortunate. There is no real sanctity or respect for others, no time for abstract ideas or possibilities like God. A society that doesn't ask what's the right thing to do- but rather what is the legal minimum.  A society that can't even communicate with one another. Go to New York and try to say "hi" to someone on the street. They'll ignore you. This is our precedent. This is what we have become.

Older Americans have perspective. They know what they know. It is historical.

So the youth of today, don't know what they don't know. They don't know an American culture based on doing the right thing and helping others. They don't understand civility. They don't know that 70% of this country claimed Christianity at the turn of the last century. (1900) They think killing fetuses is ok so long as you can rationalize your decision, ignore the sanctity of life, and drink or drug away the guilt that comes with it. They don't understand respect for others- because they were never taught this and they are emotionally absent anyway. They don't engage. They think no is a bad word. They don't help anyone unless there is something in it for them. They have gadgets to buy, tattoos on their asses, and noses with fake stones sticking out one side of a nostril.

That is the promising youth of tomorrow.

Oddly, it's not like that in small communities that were able to resist the influences of the external world. People actually seem to care for each other. That was my experience in the early days of Moonbat Valley before Mr. Anderson and all of his twins arrived. (Matrix reference) That's the way it is in places like Payette, Id. and Joseph, Or.

And what of Adam Carolla and his fear of a squandered life?

Did his parents squander their lives by having him? Did I squander my life watching the Man Show and Adam Carolla? Did I squander my Saturday afternoon? Did Mother Teresa squander her life?

Not once did Adam mention being happy. Perhaps happiness does not figure into how we are supposed to live anymore. Happiness or lacking an honorable mention there of- was rather interesting by it's very absence. I wanted to ask Adam if he was happy but as it turns out- Adam couldn't stick around beyond the one hour time limit he sets for these things. Not once did I see him make eye contact with any member of the audience- when his hour was up- poof he was gone.

Adam Carolla is a perfect mirror for what our culture has become. Celebrity worship. No wonder guys like Carolla buy into the theme. Adam Carolla, high school graduate, was paid in one hour- what it will take Sergei, high school graduate- to make in 9 months of hard work at our company's low ball pay rates.

Like my friend Billy always says. We are all searching for a niche where we make the most money with the least amount of work. Adam has found that niche. Sometimes when blind luck whacks us over the head, we trick ourselves into thinking that we were entitled or deserving when in fact we are simply lucky or born into a family of means. The birth lottery. Life and chance. It's fascinating.

That's what I know.

A Country Founded by Geniuses But Run By Idiots- Foxworthy Nails It

A Country Founded by Geniuses but Run by Idiots
by Jeff Foxworthy:

If you can get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license, but
not for entering and remaining in the country illegally — you might
live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you have to get your parents’ permission to go on a field trip or
to take an aspirin in school, but not to get an abortion — you might
live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you MUST show your identification to board an airplane, cash a
check, buy liquor, or check out a library book and rent a video, but
not to vote for who runs the government — you might live in a nation
that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If the government wants to prevent stable, law-abiding citizens from
owning gun magazines that hold more than ten rounds, but gives twenty
F-16 fighter jets to the crazy new leaders in Egypt — you might live
in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If, in the nation’s largest city, you can buy two 16-ounce sodas, but
not one 24-ounce soda, because 24-ounces of a sugary drink might make
you fat — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but
is run by idiots.

If an 80-year-old woman or a three-year-old girl who is confined to a
wheelchair can be strip-searched by the TSA at the airport, but a
woman in a burka or a hijab is only subject to having her neck and
head searched — you might live in a nation that was founded by
geniuses but is run by idiots.

If your government believes that the best way to eradicate trillions
of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more — you might live in a
nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If a seven-year-old boy can be thrown out of school for saying his
teacher is “cute,” but hosting a sexual exploration or diversity class
in grade school is perfectly acceptable — you might live in a nation
that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If hard work and success are met with higher taxes and more government
regulation and intrusion, while not working is rewarded with Food
Stamps, WIC checks, Medicaid benefits, subsidized housing, and free
cell phones — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses
but is run by idiots.

If the government’s plan for getting people back to work is to provide
incentives for not working, by granting 99 weeks of unemployment
checks, without any requirement to prove that gainful employment was
diligently sought, but couldn’t be found — you might live in a nation
that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If being stripped of your Constitutional right to defend yourself
makes you more “safe” according to the government — you might live in
a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

Reserve Your Seat at the Banquet of Consequences- The Sunday Collage

Tonight I was out at the racetrack when I received a call that a friend of mine had died. We weren't particularly close but I liked him enough that I teased him a lot. He was good natured. He was in his 30's.

If I've learned one thing in life- it is that life has consequences. The idea that you can live dangerously or foolishly and escape the consequences of that lifestyle is a myth. Every one of us seems to have heard about some guy who smoked two packs of cigarettes a day and lived to be 90. Mostly, I think, that is bullshit. Everyone I know that drinks and smokes heavily dies young. In my friend's case- he literally drank himself to death. He might not have known the consequences entirely but he had other health related issues. A girlfriend of his had died last year and the truth is, he was never the same. I'm not sure he cared about living anymore. Pretty sad when I think about it. He had a depression he just couldn't escape.

I think 2014 may be the year that we take our seats at the banquet of consequences.

I am a conspiracy theorist. Without a doubt. I believe in conspiracies largely- because they have been proven time and time again- to exist. We've seen mortgage banking conspiracies, libor rigging scandals, and there is no doubt in my mind that the gold market is manipulated by central bankers. Even Germany has come out to say that gold's price is being suppressed.

Our President's entire presidency has been one big conspiracy that started with his birth records and class transcripts, and has extended through at least five scandals that began when he gave every thieving banker in America a get of out of jail card.

All the fraudulent numbers including inflation, unemployment, housing starts, and fudged corporate earnings have reached their respective zeniths.

A completely rigged world has no encore. Quite simply, we skipped the banquet of consequences in 2008 and the caterers are back. The banquet is on in 2014.

The other day I was listening to a gal on talk radio who said that she could afford to pay about 250 a month or about 3000 dollars a year for healthcare. Unfortunately she said, Obamacare was going to cost her (for her family of four) about 11,000 a year or 900 a month. They had a combined income of 70,000 gross or 50,000 net. Since healthcare is paid for after taxes, her new bill will amount to over 20% of her available after tax funds. Or about the same as her home mortgage. My situation is very similar.

So where are people going to get the money to pay for healthcare? A- They're not.

I also noted that Congress eliminated eight tax breaks this year- two that are going to effect me dramatically. I think we're just a little early yet and people haven't started filing and getting a taste of this. I think I am going to owe an additional 500 more this year even though my income went down.

For 5 years I've been on this blog waiting for the banquet to arrive. Not because I am some doomsday prepper but because I have always known there are consequences for our actions. Somehow this country has been able to avoid the consequences of what happened prior to 2008- largely I think because the central bank has been pouring money into Wall St. and the stock market desperately trying to avoid a cataclysmic deflationary episode.

I noted a poll the other day which has Obama finding new lows. Even lower than Nixon in the midst of the Watergate scandal. I don't think Obama's approval ratings are going to get a dead cat bounce either- in fact he may wind up with the same 10% approval rate that Congress has. Truth is- he should have been impeached long before Benghazi.

Life is all about consequences. Today my 53 year old body hurts. I can feel every nagging injury in my legs and arms. My knees, sans a meniscus here or there, crack and pop when I walk. My feet and ankles are sore from years of weightlifting abuse. My right shoulder aches badly where I tore a rotator cuff tackling a guy who thought 15 years in prison was more than he could bear. I have other issues too. All of them are the consequences of my lifestyle choices. Some of them I made unwittingly- some I did not.

So I have to get ok with all of that. I accept responsibility. I have to be ok with everything that is about to happen in America as well- because as a man- I understand that we don't escape the consequences of our actions just because we want to. That's just not the way life works.

I hope my friend is in a better place.

Dissolving Status Quo Corporate America Might Be Our Last, Clear Chance- The Sunday Collage

In 1992 and 1996, Ross Perot ran for President. Ross Perot was a visionary, he was astute, and he had a lot of solid and well thought out  positions. My favorite thing about Ross was that he wasn't a lawyer and he was a billionaire. Success does not always guarantee future success- but it's a hell of a good place to start.

In America, we forget that electing a President is not unlike hiring an employee. We keep falling for a lot of bullshit credentials held by people who have achieved little or no success. Look at Bush and Obama. Neither one accomplished much on their own prior to their elections. They were simply a couple of silver spooned trust funders- one from an obviously wealthy family- and the other one (and the source of his money) has been a total mystery.

As it turns out, Ross Perot may have been our last clear chance to save ourselves. We needed leadership desperately back then- our mistake is very clear to me now.

Here were the knocks on Ross. He was sort of an ugly little man without much tact. He didn't come from either of our two enslaving, political parties. He was arrogant and paranoid. Those were just the knocks- none of them deal killers.

Here's a snip from wiki about Ross which pretty much captures how it was nearly 20 years ago. Perot tried to keep his movement alive through the mid-1990s, continuing to speak about the increasing national debt. He was a prominent campaigner against the North American Free Trade Agreement, and even debated with Al Gore on the issue on Larry King Live. Perot's behavior during the debate was a source of mirth thereafter, including his repeated pleas to "let me finish" in his southern drawl. The debate was seen by many as effectively ending Perot’s political career.[40] Support for NAFTA went from 34% to 57%.[41]

Ross Perot hated NAFTA. He said that if we started supporting free trade agreements that we'd have a great sucking sound in this country. That would be the sound of American jobs and American money leaving the confines of our shores. Since then our country has lost millions upon millions of jobs and generated over two trillion in un-taxable, offshore dollars. Dollars that cannot do anyone in the US- any good. That can only get worse.

I'm going to stop short of calling Perot a prophet but he was pretty much on the mark. He knew this NAFTA mess was going to be really bad for our country and it has been- and it is getting worse. We have not felt the full measure of pain yet but is coming on swift wings.

Instead of Perot or more recently, Ron Paul- the voters of this country have given us 12 years worth of the Bushes', 8 years worth of a drug and sex addicted (and it's pretty well documented) Clinton, and 8 years of the current moron.

That's 28 years of wasted time, a loss of 50 million jobs, a non-working, declining, middle class that finds it's earnings trending lower and lower while government demands more and more of what little income they have. Does government really think we have enough money laying around to pay an extra 500 a month for shitty healthcare?

We don't. And government is too inept and too fucking stupid to have actually asked the people who would be doing the paying. Some might even call us stakeholders. Some might have even of said that we should have been included in the whole, unread process.

By the time President Nine Iron finishes his tour of duty- we are going to be at least 19 trillion dollars in debt, Obamacare will be a complete and unmitigated disaster because our country is bankrupt and our citizens are broke. They do not have 500 or 600 a month laying around to just piss away on crappy, high deductible insurance. (The beauty of this is that if you are fully invested in health care insurers- you are about to witness the entire collapse of that sector brought about by a government who thinks it can squeeze blood from turnips and which also apparently thinks that it has the power to force your compliance)

So who are we going to elect in 2016?  Ross Perot will be 85 although he might live to be 100. He kind of reminds me of the JR Simplot, George Burns, type of lifespanner.

Somebody has to bring corporate America back to America. The vacation is over. I'm not talking about giving them tax breaks. I'm talking about making it illegal for any incorporated institution in this country to employ people in violation of US Labor Standards which sells it's products here.

In other words, you would not be able to employ a Chinese, Taiwanese, Mexican employee unless you have met our very own United States Department of Labor Standards which includes all of the rights and benefits guaranteed to a US citizen. That includes the Family Leave Act, the Minimum Wage Act paid in US dollars, and all of the other standards which this country has fought to achieve.

Quite simply, if an American corporation refused to comply- their right to incorporate and do business in the U.S. would be dissolved. They would be free to move to China or Russia or whoever would have them., pay their dollar an hour wage, and sell their products there. They could export to the U.S. subject to tariffs. In the meantime, new American business would spring up to take the place of those we ex-communicate.

Is that fair? Of course it is. It is no less fair than sticking Obamacare up our collective asses. Or the oil industry charging us the same retail price at every pump in town. NAFTA was a huge mistake. We cannot pay our national debt until we dissolve NAFTA. It is that simple.

Think about that for a moment. I have been mulling it over all week. It is the only way I can think of to give this nation a fighting, economic chance for survival. Absent a similar measure- quite honestly the only other way to satisfy our national debt is through a major hyperinflation event and currency collapse. Nobody has enough money to pay the national debt. Nobody. We can't even afford to buy force placed government health insurance let alone come up with the money to pay the debt.

Maybe in exchange for the return of American jobs to American soil- we would allow corporations to bring home off shore dollars with a minimum tax or perhaps even free.

A declining standard of living, inflation, and a government trying to steal every last dollar it can get from citizens- that is the future. The government dissolved eight major tax breaks at the first of this year. Two of them directly hurt me. They imposed another tax- Obamacare on us- and we are all going to pay more taxes this year. I don't know if you have been noticing this- but things aren't getting any better.

Dissolving the corporate welfare system in this country is key to our economic survival. We cannot carry the burden of millions upon millions of people on disability, social security, and free healthcare without restoring tax paying jobs to America. We can no longer afford to allow corporate America to fatten it's margins on the slave labor of the undeveloped world. This as it stands now, is a system that is 100% guaranteed to fail.

We have lost the capacity to take care of ourselves. In the newly minted world of 2008, the artificial stimulations of central bank counterfeiters and the lies spewed by our government cannot last forever.

They Must Be Running Low on Paper- The Sunday Collage

The greatest trick ever conceived and executed by bankers is the illusion that paper is in short supply.
Have you ever read about Holland's tulip bulb craze some 500 years ago?

This weekend I noted that Twitter stock is trading at 69 bucks- not only is this nearly a 200% gain in less than 6 months- but it supports my greater fool theory perfectly.

By creating the illusion that Twitter can actually turn a profit and provide some essential life sustaining function- you can find thousands of people willing to buy this corporate ass wipe on the theory that there will be a greater fool willing to buy Twitter stock at say 90- because bankers and corporate America have convinced people that this is what has "value." A piece of paper issued by a company that provides nothing essential or useful, has no profit, and if it disappeared tomorrow-we'd all be better off.

This is the insanity currently gripping our American landscape. People actually buy this shit. And they make money because there is always a greater fool willing to pay more. That's how it works up until such point when it doesn't work. Like 1929 or 2008.

Years ago, I had a guy who followed this blog named Rawmuse. Sometime in 2010, while I was lamenting the insanity of QE and the impending economic collapse which included the now 4 trillion in money printing by the FED which has driven our stock market to insane and ridiculous levels- Rawmuse pointed out the painfully obvious to me.

A lot of people are making a lot of money in the stock market and they didn't seem too worried about any economic collapse. Like mice at an overturned cheese truck, they were busy gorging themselves on this new supply of money.

I had to cringe because Rawmuse was right. It has been 2 or 3 years and the banker bastards just keep winning, the market keeps going up, and the greater fools just keep rubbing my nose in it. I haven't seen Rawmuse around here in a very long time. And then...

A very odd thing happened in 2012-2013. Not many noticed...

Right after Venezuela demanded that 100 tons of their gold be returned- suddenly the price of gold went down 200 bucks. Several months later, Germany demanded the return of 700 tons of their gold and what do you suppose happened? The price of gold went down another 500 bucks.

Removing supply should drive the price up, don'tcha think? Well not if you don't actually have unencumbered physical gold. The bankers, realizing that they'd have to return that which was never theirs in the first place, used paper futures to drive the price of gold down to a level that was cheap enough to start buying newly mined gold which they could then buy and deliver to satisfy these claims.

Another couple of odd things happened. Not only did the US say they couldn't return Germany's gold for 7 years- gold allegedly stored in safekeeping- but Germany's request did not bring about a flood of new requests for repatriation. This is quite interesting. Common sense might say "Hey, I better jump in line and get my gold before it runs out." We call these things "bank runs." Banks hate bank runs especially when you are demanding a commodity that they cannot produce nor can they simply fire up the printing press and make some.

What I am saying is this. Bankers have been caught red handed loaning out and hy-pothecating gold that was never theirs to begin with. When I say bankers I mean specifically the bullion banks which are all members of the US FED. Most importantly this includes the world's central banks and the Bank of International Settlement or BIS aka the mother ship of all bankers.

I believe that the BIS and the world's central banks are busy behind the scenes- swapping gold and settling gold claims with cash- telling countries to be patient while they purchase new supply for delivery. Which is precisely why the NY FED can't deliver Germany's gold for 7 years.

One last HUGE point. There are only two sources of gold supply. Existing or unearthed supply and gold which has yet to be unearthed. Not only is gold hard to find but it is ungawdly expensive to mine. So when bankers drive the price too low, the miners will just quit mining. That means bankers will have to use their own gold reserves to settle claims if they can't buy new supply. They don't want that.

An absolute floor on the gold price in any scenario will not be less than 1000 an oz. I can't see a lesser price even in a horrible deflation scenario and certainly not in an inflationary scenario. Gold at 1000 will cause mines to shutter. Bankers can't kill new supply or they will be forced to deplete already dwindling reserves.

Gold has never failed as a currency. Gold is money.

The tulip craze ended in Holland when it finally dawned on someone that tulip bulbs were pretty much non essential- kind of like Twitter stock. By that time they had run out of fools with newly mortgaged farms willing to speculate on astronomically priced tulip bulbs anyway.

Eventually the same thing will happen here particularly when the FED stops QE altogether. There will be another collapse, Twitter stock will go to 2 bucks and the bankers will be busy trying to seize assets and save their hides like they did when they hijacked the US tax coffers in 2008. This time around- there will be a huge fight. The bankers think they have the power with their bought and paid for political lapdogs- but I think their position at that point will be utterly defenseless.

In the meantime Rawmuse- where ever you are in Marin County- I miss you. I got a feeling this run is about over. There has always been a generous supply of paper and a scarcity of gold. I think this will be the year when that fact gets proven out once again despite the bankers best efforts to convince you that paper is in such short supply that the DJIA will be bid up to 20,000. Really.
