I Dream of Freedom

For 100 years we have had the unaudited Federal Reserve stealing the wealth of this country. Creating crisis and despair. Financing every war. Facilitating the death and destruction of sons and daughters everywhere.

We have a monopolistic two party system made up of crooked politicians. Men and women absorbed with greed and power. They have no idea of the meaning of the term "public service." They do however know the meaning of "self service."

And we have a government armed with jack booted IRS thugs. Able and willing to strip you of as much wealth as they can get their hands on. Threatening you with prison time for no other reason than you have the audacity to work and then try to keep the money you have earned. Distributing your wealth to themselves.

Freedom? What the hell does that mean? Economic freedom? Maybe they'll let you live outside prison walls as long as you turn over half of your paycheck. In a few years, maybe 3/4's of your paycheck. Perhaps they will let you have have some sub-standard health care just as long you pay whatever arbitrary price it takes to create thousands of more jobs for more government workers to administer their latest debacle. Maybe they'll let you live on the land they really OWN just as long as you pay your taxes on it. Maybe they'll let you drive a car just as long as you pay taxes on it, pay taxes on the gas and oil you put in it, and pay the taxes they charge you to hang a piece of aluminum on it. Maybe they'll let you eat just as long as you pay sales taxes on the food or import duties and taxes on the ingredients in your food. Maybe they' ll even let you have a drink as long as you pay your liquor tax.

The idea that we live in a free market economy vanished decades ago. People were willing to pay some price in the form of taxes for some measure of freedom. But soon, that freedom began to look a lot like economic slavery. And then- it became clear that it was. We ran out of money.

You know what that White House looks like to me? It looks like one of those giant antebellum plantation type mansions that forced sharecropping slave labor to the fields in places like Georgia and South Carolina. The slaves have changed over the years. We have different skin tones, many of us are white. There are millions of us now and we work for the greatest plantation owner of them all. The U.S. Government.

I dream of freedom. I have watched as the poor misguided voters in this country marched to the polls to vote for liars, cheats, and criminals. I have stood by and listened to the great national debate over which party of thieves is worse. They are both wretched. Both worthy of a guillotine in the square for their betrayal to this country. And I know that the only way this runaway wreck of a government can be stopped is with a third party. And I dreamed. I dreamed that instead of calling each other names, we could unite. That suddenly one day, all of us would realize that it's not your neighbor that is your enemy- the enemy is that great satan of a government that we have created and ignored for far too long. A government that has morphed into some abomination that not even Jefferson on angel dust could have envisioned. A government that thinks that it has the right to run your life, steal your wealth, ignore your wishes, threaten you, and do it with impunity. Indeed the criminals that run this thing- never go to trial.

I dream that the day is upon us. The day when we all realize we can no longer waste time. That if we are to save the greatest beacon of freedom that has ever existed- we must act soon. We must put down our remote controls, our Iphones, and our silly (D) and (R) arguments and we must unite. We must have a sense of urgency because we are on the brink of collapse and time is no longer in great supply. This is no longer some chicken little "sky is falling" scenario parroted by mentally deranged people on cheap paper pamphlets. The debt is real, the threat of collapse is real and imminent, and the only ones that can stop this- is a united American people. The original freedom fighters.

History has shown us that if you take freedom for granted or ignore it, it will be taken or stolen from you. Sometimes when somebody steals something from you, you have to steal it back.
