Stop and think how bad this could be. What if the Republicans hadn't taken the House in 2010?? The spoiled brat and the rest of the Kleptocrats (TM) would have already raised the debt ceiling by 3 or 4 trillion.Chicken Little Tim Geithner would be happy and quiet. House Majority Leader Boehner was telling the truth in tonight's rebuttal. The Republicans put forward the cut, cap, and balance plan- it had enough votes in both houses to pass and it is a solid plan. It shaves 4 trillion with no new taxes. Kleptocrats seeking re-election in the Senate next year would have most certainly voted for it. Unfortunately, the baby in the White House would have been forced- kicking and screaming- to sign that bill and he would not have been able to tax the rich which he conceded once already. Remember the winter capitulation with the Bush tax cuts? You can damn sure bet Obama does. He is ego invested in this mess. I'd wager a buck or two that Obama saw this coming and made that winter concession thinking he would get the summer concession. Two strikes at the rich and still no hits. Ah the ruling class. Like Charlie says. Winning. Thus the Senate just tabled the Republican bill and effectively killed it. That way the big baby could save face. So tonight he plays some offense and goes on TV inferring that this budget impasse is- dysfunctional government and a three ring circus? Really?
We know that the Kleptocrats tabled the cut, cap, and balance for their leader. This is not a secret. Obama acts as though that plan never existed and that he is some poor victim/hostage to the mean old Republicans. Obama and the Kleptocrats could have passed a budget long ago- prior to the 2010 elections. In fact, I actually think they are in violation of the law. Not that the lap dog Eric Holder would notice. I gotta newsflash for you Barack. Government opposing you and your socialist friends is the first hint of an actual "functional" government since this country fucked up and voted you in three years ago. It's not a three ring circus. Government was designed this way to prevent miscreants like you from ruining our country. Sometimes government works. Like now.
Obama probably knows a little about dysfunction. It seems to follow him. Calling people names in order to make yourself feel better is the type and brand of dysfunctional leadership that I have come to expect from this dude. With just a week to go on the debt ceiling debate, I'm not going to hold my breath that Mr. Obama suddenly becomes enlightened and owns his side of the street. That is what responsible leaders do. Rather I am going to enjoy watching Obama throw temper tantrums. The American people have caught on and if nothing else happens, I am going to enjoy seeing Obama eat a little humble pie. In addition to the House of No, thankfully, we can revel in the glee of watching a spoiled Kleptocrat getting his ass spanked. So we got some things going for us. It ain't all bad.
