Welcome to the Ineptocracy!

From a ZH commenter comes this latest gem which defines our ineptocracy- perfectly.

*_Ineptocracy_****(in-ep-toc’-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least

capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the

members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded

with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number

of producers*

...and totally unsustainable. When all the producers go "Galt" on the system, it will collapse. I am very interested in how that unavoidable collapse will manifest itself. Will it be by a sudden revolution like in France in 1789, that savaged a centuries old system based on birthright and priveledge in a mere three years?

I doubt our collapse will look like that, because we have it slightly backwards from France in 1789: The French aristocracy and theocracy that lost their heads were all considered 'conservative,' while the rabble that ran all the French fat cats through the Guillotine were considered left wing. The society that sprang from the French Revolution is still with us today, (and faltering just like our leftist/socialist government will).
