...and totally unsustainable. When all the producers go "Galt" on the system, it will collapse. I am very interested in how that unavoidable collapse will manifest itself. Will it be by a sudden revolution like in France in 1789, that savaged a centuries old system based on birthright and priveledge in a mere three years?
I doubt our collapse will look like that, because we have it slightly backwards from France in 1789: The French aristocracy and theocracy that lost their heads were all considered 'conservative,' while the rabble that ran all the French fat cats through the Guillotine were considered left wing. The society that sprang from the French Revolution is still with us today, (and faltering just like our leftist/socialist government will).
