What a madman that Paul is. Not only does he think the US is broke, but he wants to end useless government bureaucracies and get us out of wars. What the hell is he thinking? No wonder he gets no press. For more crazy ideas like cutting EPA spending by 30%... please read the summary at the link. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/ron-paul-proposes-elimination-education-energy-departments-lowering-presidential-salary-39336
My other favorite pet project is California. Thought I'd slip this in here... Not only have the moonbats turned California into a pure socialist state...but soon the rest of the U.S. will be asked to start bailing out these liberal strong holds like California and Illinois. I hope all hell breaks loose. I'd rather sell California back to the Mexicans at this point. Not kidding. http://reason.org/blog/show/ca-revenues-behind-projections

Can we? Do you think they'd really want it? Mexico might not like all the illegals in CA becoming their problem.
ecc102 makes a good point about California.
I can't wait to hear more about Ron Paul's plan. I may have differences with him on what constitutes "providing for the national defense", but I do love his fiscal and monetary policies.
CoF,
Thanks for the praise!
As to Mr. Paul's fiscal and monetary policies, I agree with you. He would make for an awesome Treasurer or even Vice-President.
Hmmm....Cain and Paul 2012? Oh, now that would rock!
