It was a 3 or 4 hr. read. I finished it, put it down, and thought there is no way life could have been that simple. Yet undeniably- had I implemented that book in my life years ago- I think I could have moved mountains.

A very easy, simple read. The hard part is living it. Thanks for asking.

BrianBrianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11009623520148094685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3247350212550914879.post-33100364638426557182015-06-04T19:17:13.006-06:002015-06-04T19:17:13.006-06:00Brian, what was the book that changed your life?

And I suspect you did exactly that on more than one occasion.

Poker is fine when played with friends, and the stakes are low. When played with people you don't know, and with hundreds of dollars in a single pot during a session that consists of hundreds of hands played, God knows the trouble that can develop.

My brother-in-law's brother is a hard core gambler. The poker machines in every casino in the Midwest are his thing. The brother in law casually tells me that Bob's poker playing is his 'hobby.'

That's like saying my smoking is MY hobby. Or that my heavy drinking is my hobby. Ha, poker as a hobby. It's a vice, and not a hobby, regardless of how anybody tries to romanticize it.
