I don't have a damn thing wrong with me and my teeth are clean.. I buy my own glasses. My woman's health care plan is $450.00 monthly. At 57 I'm not interested in financially fighting some disease so I can extend my time here in this first death experience.. Eat vegetables and fruit, nuts, greens. We're all gonna die. This world is a joke. They don't own the man. They only own the perversion of what was once men renamed PERSON, Human, homo this or that.. Their the biggest fraud in the history of the world. If they want $400 or more of their trashy masonic talisman notes big whoop. This model of goobernment no longer supports itself, is not sustainable. Whoever thought this up way back when were idiots and those still running this shit show are still idiots. T...I got a call from them (health share) yesterday. They told me it was too late to avoid the penalty. My new plan starts Jan 1. They also told me the pre-existing condition thing is scaled up meanng they cover zero the first year, 25k the second year, and 100% by the fourth year. In other words, the don't want someone to come in and scoop benefits- like Obamacare does- when people have a serious condition. That is killing the ACA.

If you don't pay the penalty- trust me- the government will suddenly decide to collect overdue fines after attaching penalties and interest. I guarantee you they will. That 400 fine will look like 1500 after they get done with you. Maybe cancel your passport- because the one thing people don't understand is that government always "changes it's mind" and you will not e the beneficiary.

I do know my PSA. I have blood work done every 6 mo. I found a colonscopy for 950 at the St George surgery center in Utah- which is now listing prices.Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11009623520148094685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3247350212550914879.post-45360672595392742382015-12-08T03:53:24.818-07:002015-12-08T03:53:24.818-07:00Health insurance is now an oxymoron. Deductibles are so high, as Trump says, you need to get run over by a tractor to use it.

For many years I was responsible by maintaining a catastrophic health insurance policy. I use to say it covered my head transplant and that was about it. In my 30s, it cost about $60/month. I figured if I broke a leg skiing, I wouldn't get socked with a $20K bill. I was on the hook for the first $3500, we split the next $5K and after that, the insurance paid 100% up to a million. True catastrophic insurance. I paid for my check ups, blood work, whatever. Over the years, the cost went up as I aged and the provisions slightly changed. In all my years, I have paid for every penny of my medical care
.
The policy was cancelled for whatever reason a few years ago and I just said fuck it. So now I'm not insured which I guess is now REQUIRED. I refused to provide any kind of medical information on last years 1040. Since I'm self employed and usually have to send a check in, they had nothing to subtract any kind of fine from.

I was perfectly happy with the kind of insurance I had. It was INSURANCE, no copays, no nothing.

You trace the problem to when Medicare started. I'll go back even further when the government made health benefits tax free after WWll because they had instituted a wage freeze. I call bullshit on that. It's a wage for crying out loud. Once they did that, it was off to the races. It took a few decades but like everything else the damn government sticks it's nose in, it got out of control. Why should a health insurance company worry about costs when the bill is going to get covered by a business plan?

The more layers you put in between the doctor and patient, the less it looks like health care. And that's what we have now.

Luckily I have always taken decent care of myself, hit the gym every morning, don't smoke or touch any drugs, get blood work done every 6 months or so to catch anything(know your PSA Brian?) and am in excellent health at 64. But heaven forbid, I know I'm walking on thin ice-I'm one serious accident away from economic devastation.

I'm going to look into that link you provided and see what's up-however if they require no alcohol…I still enjoy a glass or two of wine most nights.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
